So, after fixing my leaky TB I'm finding that my idle is still a little sketchy. Boost leak ran good, and is now actually building boost in my pipes when I test it, instead of just pegging at 1 psi. After doing some reading on the free mods, though, I realized that my MAS was hacked a little more than outlined... or so I think. Is it bad, and will it cause bad idle, if your upper honey comb is hacked clean out too? What I was reading says remove the bottom one and then clean up the plastic and what not with a dremel. But, where my upper honeycomb should be it's clean through too... is that bad?

The upper honeycomb needs to be in place to 'straighten' the air path so the Karman sensor can get an accurate reading. The car can idle rough and run rich or lean depending on different conditions and mods to your car.

No major mods. Just an idle that won't really even out for more than a minute :notgood:

Thanks for the info. I picked up a stock 1g intake just for kicks when I gutted out another car. good thing I didn't scrap it and it can actually be used.
