So I need to know what's the measurements of a fwd 95-99 eclipse GS-T transmission ? length, width, pounds. The reason is because I'm trying to buy a 5 speed transmission off someone and I will be paying for shipping cost.

The guy dose not know what it is so I have to find out the exact measurements myself and ask around. I really am hoping someone could help with this I'm getting the transmission for a good deal really cheap but shipping might cost a lot we both live in California so I'm crossing my fingers it's not too bad

I would guess that he is within 5-6 hours of you, if not less, considering you're showing in Bakersfield. Is it not worth it to go pick it up? I know that eats up a day in a car, but if you have a car that's good on gas, you'll do it for 1/3 the cost of shipping/package material and you won't have to wait for delivery or hope it doesn't get damaged.

I would guess that even only going a few hundred miles, it would probably be close to $100 for everything.

I'm going have to call ups or fedex tomorrow but i want to be prepared to know all the measurements so they can give me a quote. if my car was running i would go their myself but i have no way of getting their so shipping is my only option

I wish I did man... if I knew someone with one it would make things easier.I have no other options but to get it ship to me I really need those measurements I search couldn't find anything

The guy finally send me the measurements this morning since I kept bugging him to get it haha I kind of feel bad didn't want to seem pushy but I wanted to take action in my own hands to get it done so that's why I ask to see if anyone would know but I got it ! it's about 16 inches long and 22inches wide and 14 inches tall & 83 pounds

The transmission is going to cost me around $105 shipped from UPS and it would of cost me $102 round trip going their in a car about the same amount of money. total $205.00 paid for and shipped :thumb:

The guy is going to drop it off tomorrow at the ups store so they can package it and send it off to me. I pray that it makes it to me safely. cant wait until next year when I do my auto to manual swap.I already have a big jump on it since I got the tranny already and I recently brought a B&M short shifter from another guy parting out his dsm

the tranny only has 89k on it no grinds no pop outs it came out of a 97 GS-T i got very lucky !
