I search the site for answers but most where different then mine. Any how, can any one help? Here is the problem; my lights work corners, angel eyes, high light, brake lights all except for my left turn signal in the front, the weird thing is that the rear (same side) back blinks but it does blink rapidly, right blinkers work both front and back, the left front is where the problem is, any ideas as what I should be looking at or replacing?

thanks >>> :thumb:

The front left blinker bulb is burned out or is disconnected or the wiring is disconnected somewhere. The rear left blinks quickly because it detects a problem with the wiring in the left turn signal circuit. Any time a blinker flashes quickly on one side it is because there is a problem with that side, almost always a burned out bulb. Your nearest Autozone/Pepboys/Kragen etc should have a book in the bulb section that will tell you the model # of the bulb you need.

How can it be burned? the bulb turns on when the corner lights are switch on?!

what eclipsegsx1736 is telling you is that when one of the lights blinks very fast either the bulb has burned out of something in the driver side wiring between the tailight, corner light and back to the healight switch. the reason it does this is when one bulb goes out the voltage has nowhere to go but to one of the bulbs in the system. lighting systems work in a circuit, one circuit for each side of the car. when that circuit is broken (by a bulb burning out) the voltage gets to only one . unless the tailight is the bulb burnt out. this, in turn doesn't allow the voltage to travel in a complete circle. the bulb is just like a toggle switch, if the bulb burns out the voltage cant jump across the gap left behind. this is the exact same principle for if a wire is broken or the insulation has rubbed of somewhere and is grounding itself against bare metal.

check the bulbs on both the front corner lens and the turn signal bulb in the tailight. if one is bad, replace it. if they are both still good you'll have to check for broken wires. you can take a multimeter and check for continuity at each end of wires. no continuity, you know you've got a broken or grounded wire.
