blinker wont turn off

driving to work made a left and turned my blinker on after the turn it wont turn off. I have tried the right blinker but that doesnt work cause theleft one is going. I put my hazards on and both sides work fine. i have also checked the fuses under the hood. Any other sugestions because it seems like i am an old lady driving with a blinker on down the road haha

Find the 2 screws that hold the turn signal assembly. They're golden Philips screws. Unscrew them and the assembly will slide out to the drivers side.

ok and then how would i put it back together not replacing all the assembly but to just turn the blinker off for now?

Ok I'm sitting here with it all taken apart now which thing do I take out or pull to just turn the blinker off?
