search facebook for solo8... they make some sweet custom tail lights. they did a 240 with star leds for tail lights... really gets me thinking about what im going to to do mine!

i have seen a few people with led lighting panels in their tail lights and i think the look is killer. can anyone inform me of how to do it myself (and where to get LED panels), or where i can get them? oh by the way i have a 95 ESi if that makes a difference. thanks

You can get these lights on ebay site at very cheap prices.

make sure that you place many lines of parrell power to the rows of leds.

charger style lights would be damn near impossible. The center section is not meant to be lit up... I tried. (failed/gave up). It would require precision dremeling to open up that area, and then very careful re-attachment after leds are put in. And it would be a PITA if any led ever blew.

I plan on eventually retrofitting the tails to a "audi" style or whatever style led design (not bulbs, but stings of led arrangements). Its going to suck.

Cheap and LED do not go hand in hand. Good ones are not cheap.

No experience with a 1G but it is possible to light up the center of the 2G tails. Look at adave's and my car.

You'd be better off building your own strips for lighting your tails.

I use ebay leds..Ive only had 1 not work,and I have tone of them..

Even the bulbs for the led conversion have mostly all worked.
