Dsm's are rice get overit,
Well I have been getting very anxious to finish my taillights. But because I have been spending so much time on the motor swap I have not been working on them as much as I would like. So here are some sneak peak pictures to be followed by the finished project within the next few weeks. Each side will have 5 sequenced sections. I havn't even started on the electronics because I am waiting on a few parts.

I wouldn't rock those on my car, but damn...I can certainly appreciate the effort that went into it. It's awesome to see new creativity around here. Can't wait to see your finished product.

Thanks for the comments. Well I like things to be flashy. I am going for the "ricer" look. I also have a 26-27 model t roadster "rat rod" and a 2000 all black escalade with 24" wheels "bling bling". Plus I like these better than the current tyc setup.

god no i wouldnt rock those..but it matches your ricey look perfectly.like said before the effort is dope good job.

What did you use as the main light piece? Just aftermarket clear tails? I have wanted to do some custom LED tails, but just a bunch of LEDs, no designs.

there an in pro car wear ruby red lenses. I had to have a design because azdave's setup is just way too much work for me. I didn't like circle's or the other designs I played with so I settled on the diamond stars. No modified lighting is legal without dot approval all you can hope is it looks oem enough that the cops don't bother you about it. They do have the required rear and side facing reflectors as well as marker light. Though they are way too bright and that is something I am going to have to deal with because I didn't want to run a Programmable IC.

I'll be honest with you, those don't look OEM at all. Regardless of the fact that you're using red lenses. I'll give you a point for not going clear lensed, and a point for creativity, but that's it.

O, my bad man, I didn't notice the picture with the red lens back on. I see what you did now. Just throw a resistor in there and take away some of the voltage. Or throw a potentiometer in there so you can adjust it. Less voltage should cause them to be dimmer!
