Hello all!!
I currently own a Honda Civic EX that I am selling in order to buy a DSM!!!
I had bought the Civic when I didn't have a lot of money, and in hopes of adding a Turbo to it.. for a little more power.
Well, 4 years later... it still has no Turbo, is slow...and... I dont want to spend 5 grand to give it 60-80 more whp. The engine of a Civic is just not strong enough to boost it safely over 12psi... even tho' some have made it to 16psi!!! $$$$$
Before I bought the Civic I had a chance to drive an 97' GST with $2000 in engine mods..intake, downpipe, larger Turbo, boost ctlr.. basicly the Stage 1 upgrade.... To be honest, I loved it!!! and I never forgot what it felt like.. I have always wanted that power again...
Now I can afford it, problem is... I must sell my Civic first.. yeah I owe $6,000 on it!!! bad deal..
I am actually working 2 jobs for a total of 70 hours in order to buy upgrades.
So.... My question is this...
Before I go out and buy a 97 or 98 GST, what are some things I should look for?
Also, what price range should I expect for stock GST's.
I plan on going to a Mitsubishi Dealer to see what inventory they have.
Any information will be very helpfull!!!
Thank you!!!!
Cheers!
