Hey guys. I just want some insight on how reliable you guys feel that your Dsm's have been to you. I had a Sebring with a v6, not the 420a so i couldn't compare the engines. I found a 1998 Eclipse Gs. It has 82,000 with a white exterior and beige interior. I tried searching for information on buying one and found very little. I would initially use it for commuter for college, but I would like to do mods to it. Any information would be great.

Well just where to start, DSM's can be reliable but you must take nice care of them and keep all maitenance up to date. But expect to have things go wrong and to have to sink a little money into it. There is alot of potential mods to our cars though. Heres something that may help you and sum up the DSM http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=200797 :thumb: Good Luck!

my stepdad is a mechanic so I would have him go with me. Also I am asking the dealer if they have a lift easily accessible so I can see underneath it. I have looked through the site and seen the different posts. I just want to know if I put $5500 into the car, that it will last me atleast 2-3 years. Again any information would be helpful
