Ok, My original problem was a really lean condition, causing over 30 counts of knock at a mear 9 psi. New plugs, and new wires on it, so i looked at the fuel system. The car sat for 2 years, so i thought perhaps my fuel pump maybe was crapping out on me, and not pumping enough fuel, out it come, In with a walbro 255. Knock is is greatly reduced, about 10 counts of knock, still at 9 psi. So there is still a problem somewhere.

This weekend i put in a set of RC 550's now thinking my stock injectors were clogged and dirty, and not flowing enough fuel. I was right on that, Knock is gone completely. Now i got the pump and injectors major cheap. I do realize i need a AFPR, and a SAFC to controll them. But i wont be able to get that stuff in there for a few more months. Now for the new problem.

Ok, walbro 255 with a stock FPR, and 550's with stock ecu running em. REALLY REALLY RICH. Now it pulls hard untill about 4500 rpm, then it loses alot of power, feels like its missing, and sputtering. So i'm thinking i got too much fuel, and i'm putting the fire out. I then attempted to correct the problem by raising the boost. 12 Psi Zero Knock, Pulls hard, still sputters. 15 PSI 40 counts of knock, Pulls really hard, still sputters.

Any idea's of whats going on? I put in new NGK plugs today, didnt help. Wires are Magnacore 8.5mm, brand new as well.

Edit: Mods are small 16g turbo, 2g ex manifold, Extreme Tech MBC, Ross 8.5:1 pistons, Balance shafts out, Prothane Motor mounts, fully rebuilt & balanced 6-bolt with 1500 miles, and of course Walbro 255, 550 injectors. On a 1991 Eagle Talon TSI AWD

yes i have actually, everything is good on that part. I'm wondering if going back with the stock fuel pump would help. anyone else got any ideas?
