lean coming down

Just put in a wbo2. I also just put in a small 16g and a walbro 255.

When idling and putting my foot on the gas the wbo2 reads a good afr. But when I left off the gas the AFR spikes WAY high. Way lean I mean. So high it just shows the "--".

Ideas?

Well, driving around it does the same thing. Whenever I am coming down it spikes real high. I am guessing its from the extra air coming in to the engine from the 16g.

Don't forget that our vehicles are equipped with Fuel cut...now in an Air/Fuel ratio, what happens when you subtract the "fuel" aspect?

Ok, so I guess it does not matter what the wideband is reading when I am letting off the gas. Only for cruise, idle, and WOT. Am I right?
