Leaky roof

Is it true that in the Spyders the roof leaks. Becuase I was told by ny friends that I should never get on (I'm going to anyways, hopefuly a g2 gs-t)

My old car was a convertable and leaked, I think most/a lot of them do.

I leaked but I had a hole in it where the cross bars rubbed but now i have patched it for the time being and plan on getting a new top soon but they are so expensive and i want to proceed with engine mods. It doesn't leak anymore. How they have been taken care of in the past makes a huge difference!
