Every now and then I notice a spot on the ground where I park, I thought it was oil or tranny fluid. Today before I went to work I checked the spot to see what it was, and it smells like striaght gas. So I'm thinking if I'm leaking gas it would be all the time not just every now and then. What should I do to figure out this one? The spot is on the right side. I thought maybe the fuel filter, but when i rub around it, it doesnt fill wet nor smell like gas.

Jack the car up and look under it. IT could be leaking from the supply line, the return line, the tank, the filter, the evap line of canister, fuel regualtor, injectors. You will really just have to check it out.

Yeap.

Jack up the car and turn it ON.

With the engine ON, it will build pressure and be more easy to see the leak..

I had the same issue, But it was leaking, only when the Tank was full.

It end up being the Fuel pump Bracket (gasket), The Plastic that goes around the pump cover, was not seated wright,,

So, I just remove it and install it wright.
