Leaking coolant

For some reason my car likes to push coolant out of the lower radiator hose and my car keeps overheating. Anybody have any idea why it would be doing this?? I already took the hose off and reinstalled it with new clamps making sure its tight.

The radiator might have a small crack due to corrsosion and therefore causing the leak.
I had a similar problem with this on my gst but all it was is it needed a little more tightening and problem solved.
Maybe yours isn't tight enough, tighten it some more with a ratched with 3 fingers till you start feeling it becomes hard to tighten.
I would suggest first you take off the hose first and check for cracks.

Are you using quality clamps? Cheap clamps tend to strip easy and don't hold well. If this is the case pick up some t-bolt clamps. Otherwise maybe the hose is just old and cracking and needs replacing.

I'll be putting some nicer clamps on soon and trying that. Could I have a boost leak somewhere that would leak into the cooling system?? I've done boost leak tests and theres a tiny leak somewhere but I can't find it or hear it.

Boost leaks have nothing to do whatsoever with your coolant system.

Is the coolant coming out at the water pipe or on the radiator side? You may just need a new hose and clean the water pipe side if there's any corrosion. Old rubber radiator hoses loose their "grip" and tightness over time. Even with good clamps, coolant can slip by under pressure.

I believe you may be right on this one. The clamps are tight the hose feels tight but as soon as the tstat opens up coolant gets pushed through the hose where it connects to the radiator. Ah well I got a huge order coming from mitsu which includes new hoses. Hopefully that fixes it.

Also replace your radiator cap. It is a relief valve that opens once a certain pressure is reached routing flow to the Oflow tank. If this isn't working it can cause high coolant pressure

oo yea you could be leaking boost from the cylinder head gasket and going into the coolant and it would be blowing out your resoivoir under boost but not under idle. happened to me couldnt figure out the problem for a couple months. air can def get in the cooling system and blow anti-freeze everywhere. its a real bi***
