Hey guys, I was hoping to get some insight and some advice from those who have gone down this route over E85. The nearest corn fuel station is about 20min away vs 5min for the BP leaded stuff. I know that I will have to replace O2 and WB sensors once a year but is there more disadvantages or other considerations? I also plan on running the AEM methanol injection kit to keep the knock down when I increase the boost to around 28psi
 
I dont have any access to e85, nearest station is several hours away

regular unleaded 92 pump

I use blue washer fluid rated to -20 degrees

I wouldn't go beyond that unless you run direct port injection. use the fuel solonoid wiring and have link activate the meth pump around (load settings activate it at about 10 psi). I would also HIGHLY suggest using PTFE line with AN fittings or you will be fighting those cheap pushlock connector failures all the time.
 
My E85 station is 20 miles away. I haven't had to change WB sensors yet and ran it almost 2 years on pure corn. You won't need the meth injection with E and can get away with MUCH more timing (performance) with NO knock. On pump you will be able to run maybe 7-10* timing as opposed to E, which I was running 20-21* at 8500. Just how things work out for me with a HX40 at close to 40 lbs boost.
 
I am currently tuned on 93 and I am boosting at 20psi wastegate pressure. I know, I know, I need a boost controller before all of this. I also have a part time job at O’Reillys so I can get a meth kit and boost juice way cheaper than online so that is covered. I just wanted to know if tuning on the leaded stuff is worth while.
 
I tuned on leaded 91 and all the meth I could inject with a 1000cc nozzle, but once I went to E85, I have never put a drop of dyno squeezin's back in her. She really came to life on pure E. I keep 15 gallons at home just for use around town and getting back to the ethanol station :)

I’d just hate to have to always have to plan out my driving due to e85. There are only 2 stations near by that have corn and I don’t want to make the huge sarcrifice of mpg and money getting flex fuel sensors to avoid being stranded.
 
Have you looked into the price of race fuel? Around here it's $6 to 7 per gallon. I would go e85 and fill up an additional can or 2. If you have to drive the car long distance and your worried about finding e85, switch back to your 93 tune and lower the boost.
 
Can't help ya on the BP stuff, I don't have access to anything more than 91 unless I go to the airport and buy jet fuel. It is worth it to me but not all, that's why I keep 3 extra 5 gallon cans full of E.
