I have a maft and pocketlogger and was wondering how big I could go injector wise with just maft and pocketlogger to tune with. And to about what hp you can tune to roughly compared to with dsmlink.

I have not used a MAFT. However I believe the older versions operate on basically the same principles as a SAFC. I don't know much about the new MAFT Pro, but the older versions just offset the MAS signal so the ECU sees less airflow. Timing gets too advanced on a SAFC when you run around 650cc injectors or slightly larger, so I would assume the same is true for a MAFT.

DSMlink is MUCH better for tuning. Save yourself the hassle and just get the DSMlink and zero out the maft. This way you have a broader horizon for which injectors you can use.

What if he doesn't have a Eprom Ecu?....that would cost a lot more to get an Eprom socketed and DSMlink.....please stay on the topic at hand and answer the question?....I would like to know this to because I was thinking about getting a MAFT and 680cc precision injectors....and would like to know my tuning capabilities.

I realize it would be much better to get dsmlink as I plan to. But I won't have the money for awhile because I'm laid up at the moment with a broken collar bone still so I wont have much extra cash for the next couple months probably. Thats why I want to know how big I can go with my current tuning setup to use for the time being since I already have my new turbo and some tuning software(The maft and pocketlogger setup). I have an rs bov that I need to put in with the new 3" gm mas and maft so I'll need to install the maft nonetheless and figured I might as well upgrade my fuel setup and try to make some power for the time being until I can get dsmlink and a few other performance items and really push the new sc-61 I bought. So I'm wondering how big of injectors I can tune with the maft to try to avoid repurchasing them later on when I finish the setup.
