So my car just started to make this knocking noise that only occurs when I'm driving around 20mph and above. Also when I'm coasting from that speed it sounds more loud and clear. There is no noise though when I am stopped or parked, nor when I rev it from a stop. It sounds as if it is coming from the driver's side of the engine, and I can feel it clunking through the pedal and steering wheel. When I got home I checked and couldn't visibly see anything. My oil is still good and the car drives well other than the noise. I drive an automatic GST and the CEL goes on and off because of a fuel trim code but I haven't had any serious problems with it other than killing my gas. Any ideas what it might be?

Yeah I never got around to bringing it to one after I got in an accident. Where can I find the CV joints and know what I'm looking at? So I just drove it and I can hear it squeaking slightly but mostly feel and hear the knocking noise. My steering wheel is slightly off to the right when I drive straight and when I hold the steering wheel straight(so my car turns left a little), I noticed that the knocking was louder then when I turned it slightly any direction it was quieter.

That, my friend, is called "don't drive it until you get it looked at! "

You need to get that thing in a front end shop soon as possible.

You could have a ball joint ready to give out on you in which you'll totally lose control of the car and have a serious accident when that joint fails, to anything else that got bent in that accident you mentioned.
