I am getting knock sometimes, but not other times, it's weird.
How do you tell if you are getting knock from heat soak, or from your a/f too lean.
If i can look for something on the logger let me know what to look for.
All i been reading is not to watch the o2v cuz it's different with every car. Right now though i am at like .82-.83v at wot in 3rd and 4th gear pulls.
I am wanting to turn up my boost, but i'm getting like 7-8 counts of knock every now and then during a pull and i see the ecu back off the timing and the count drops to zero....it's either that, or i'm a little lean in the mid rpms i guess?
I will do some logs today and post them for you guys so you can analyze them. Until then, let me know what you can.

i think if you log a run from 1st to 3rd and a run in 3rd alone, you will be able to find where your knock is coming from. if it doesnt knock in 3rd alone, but it does after hitting 1st and second, then youd think its from heat soak. i just bought a frount mount and hopefully after its installed, ill be able to say that i was right, since im expecting the knock to go away after hitting all the gears. make sense?

Your intercooler is quite large.

Either way, it doesn't matter. Knock is knock, but with that FMIC, I HIGHLY doubt it's from soaking...

.82 - .83 it should be knocking , depending on the boost you are running! I am running .90 -.91 on mine, at 26psi with no knock, but also that is on 110 octane!

o.k. then. Today i am going to go out and try to add a little fuel. I will double check my timing prior to hitting the highway today. I will make some logs and post them when i get back.

I thought on a 1g, .83-.85 was good for O2v?

I guess it really depends on your setup, that is just what works for me!
.82 - .83 i am rich like a pig!
