knock 50-75% after cleaning/oiling air filter.

I just bought a cleaning kit for my specter reusable air filter. After cleaning, oiling and installing it, I'm getting huge amounts of knock (guaged by a Ceddy Mod feature using the stock boost gauge). Before cleaning and oiling it had a very small amount of knock in the same pattern. Sometimes when I ease into it, it wont knock, but if lift the pedal and aggressively jump back on the gas my knock count sky rockets. I've searched high and low and cant find anyone who has had the same problem.

Oil screwed up your MAF. Not sure if it's salvageable/cleanable. I always use a dry filter. Karman MAFs are very finicky.
