Looks like it would work. Don't expect the compressor to hold the valves shut though, didn't for me. Couldn't get the rope trick to work either.
 
Well i want to change the valve stem seals without pulling the head off. To tkelly, how much psi were you shooting in the cylinders? I don't mind use the rope in the cylinders to hold the valves, but it just seem like it would be a whole lot quicker to pressurize the cylinder,change the seals then slide it over to the next one.
