So i was planning on purchasing a turbo XS dual stage boost controller because I'm fwd and face it traction sucks for gs-t and there is no way around even though some claim otherwise. I never really looked into the electric BC because they were out of my budget and i have heard sometimes they just stop working. Lately though i have been researching the profec b spec 2 and the type s and was curious if they are dual stage. They talk about lo boost setting and high o i thought they might be. Also u can by the little remote to put on your steering wheel to switch it so i think they are kinda dual stage but, if you don't by the remote can u switch while racing. Also does that mean i have to lean over and push the button on the actual little console. That seems like it would screw me up? Sorry about dumb question its just with my research i haven't been able to find an exact answer, probably because it so obvious.

not too familiar with that, but it sounds like they have an HI and LO setting.

This probably implies that you have to flip a switch to go from Lo to HI upon racing.

Why not just learn how to drive the car? WTF

There is a hi/low setting on the Greddy Profec B and yes you have to press the button on the controller to change boost settings while driving unless you have the button on the steering wheel. It is a pain to push that little button while driving but it isn't as bad as having to pop your hood to adjust your boost.

You don't need to use a bc. When you are at a dead stop on snow or ice and your slipping and the turbo is boosting too fast, start going in 2nd gear. I live in CO Springs, CO and it works just fine for me, even on hills.
