I just bought a keyless remote off eBay for my 1995 gst. I'm trying to program but can't figure it out. On other posts they say to connect the 1 and 4 pin but Im not sure where the 16 pin harness looks like or which pins are 1 and 4. I took off the side panel and goin the receiver and relay but the wasnt a switch like people said in other posts. All I can find is a small black connector on the drivers side close to the center column under the dash and I think it is only 8 pins. Is this the connector or what, I'm really frustrated. Any help would be nice. Thanks
(add) Ok thank you spiderGST. I got the car into prgoramming mode, locks cycle, but i cant get the remote to connect to the car. I emailed the seller and he said it is the right remote, it has four buttons, lock, unlock, trunk, and panic, and it says to press the left button three times and i have tried this multiple times several ways and it is still not working. can someone please help?!
