Key tumbler

Does anyone know if the cylinder for the doors is the exact same as the ignition. Can i bring in my door cylinder and have a key made and have it work in the ignition. I know on some cars there is less tumblers in the doors even though the key is the same.

The tumbler may have a code on it which will be enough for your locksmith. Use the passenger side or hatch tumbler, as they will have been subjected to the least wear.
