Yeah ecmlink was estimating hp to be 650whp just an estimate. but bastard what I am saying is I hate that I had to run the car sub from full power potential of 800. I have no clue about the slicks I have on the car but here's a pic of slicks on the carI love it. "turned boost down, fuel pump broke, ran poorly, boo hoo." It was still making 600 or so though. What tires were on it? Real slicks or qtp's? You have a qm or a single disc?

at the shop pressure was 20psi but after mounting at the track I let them down to 8psi.What's the tire psi at in front?
Oh forgot to answer I am running a south bend tz ceramic single disc.I love it. "turned boost down, fuel pump broke, ran poorly, boo hoo." It was still making 600 or so though. What tires were on it? Real slicks or qtp's? You have a qm or a single disc?
Yes the car was spinning a good bit several times it looked as if the car bogged coming out of the hole it wasn't bogging I was letting off so it could catch traction. A guy at the track told me to let it spin I would be surprised how much time I was losing let off like that. This is a new thing for my brain to get use to. A lot of suggestion to remember the few seconds sitting at the drag tree waiting to take offWhy was the 60' so bad? was it spinning the tires? or clutch? So last year my car would only go on an open CD 1.70's and I thought it was spinning the front tires. Turns out the 2600/6 puck I was running was to soft. I put my QM back in and it was bam instant 1.58's, averaging about 1.2G's in first gear. I did some adjustments and was hitting 1.3G averages on my private track (which was probably a low 1.5 -high 1.4.
What I'm saying is that it can be the clutch slipping and you not knowing it. Also not all 6 puck discs are created equal. I usually run a XTD sprung 6 puck, but the XTD solid disc has a different compound of puck and it grabs and hods much better. The genuine ACT disc hold good to. So if it is the clutch holding it back, a simple disc swap might get you down a bit.
How does that SBC shift at 9000+? I've always wanted to try one, but it's expensive and noone would guarantee it would shift. SBC wouldn't even return my calls.
I kept letting off all day natural street reaction. I was sitting in the car today in the driveway pretending to be shifting gears at the same time making engine sound with my mouth trying to train the brain I must say my wife and kids though dad was nuts
. Shifting at 9000 isn't too bad I normally don't shift this high on the streets I raised it to 9000 at the track considering I was running out of 3rd gear just before crossing the finish line when it was set at 8400. I set it back to 8400 when I left the track at the end of the day. Trust me I am determine to perfect the launches because this is what hurting my runs the most. This clutch is the truth!Sweet when I get my next clutch the south bend clutch single disk, I see your killing it in the fwd.
will the 9.5 fit? What's the tire psi at in front? Find some good hoosier or m&h slicks, but 9.5's they will fit or bigger if you can. Give you more meat on the ground to grip, that south bend setup should easily handle it for you, love mine!

Kels 9.5 and wider meat will be the ticket man. All that torque is just overriding the present tire and rim setup you have. I think this is also one of your main issues.will the 9.5 fit?
Thanks! Yeah I switch to the jmf street manifold.Great job!! I'm curious if you're still running the cyclone intake manifold or did you switch to JMF ?
