Ok guys, I'm switching to the Kelford cams for this year and can't deside which cam profile to go with. Its either the 280/272, or the 288/280 cams! Also don't know which would better suit my build and goals! Any info and comments would be great!!! Thanks...

Shoot, forgot the I in recommendations!

I'm guessing your profile is up to date with the mods; what JMF intake manifold to you have?

I would def. do a 280/280 or just got with some GSC cams.

never mind the last question.. i'm blind. With that exhaust side i'd be wanting to keep the duration down a bit i'd be trying the 272 exhaust cam, and there 280 intake cam.. or maybe there 288 intake cam with the 276hl exhaust cam.. unless you plan on using a less resrictive exhaust side i'd use the 280/272 combo.

Sorry for not updating my plans for this year! I will be running a fully built 2g head, with the Curt Brown spec Jmf drag Intake! Hope you guys can help me with the best setup, with those mods... Thanks...

I've heard good things about the 280/276 combo. :hellyeah: I'll probably be using something similar in my build (doing custom grinds through Kelford though :thumb:)

What about piston to valve clearance..?? you not scared with tx280?? those are 11.5mm lift cams..
I went with tx272..was scared a bit of the lift..My head was decked only 1x.0.0118", and motor too.. plus I had FP beehive springs.... which couldn´t hold 280 at 9k+ And get kiggleys was outta my budget:sosad: anyways saw dyno sheets on evom and tx 272 performs very well in 6k to 9k range..thats perfect for my need:thumb:
going to push 40PSI with BWs300 91/79 on E85

Good luck

Shouldn't be too bad, I have the cometic 1.6mm head gasket, and the head was decked .004" and about the same with the block! I also have the super tech dual valve springs... I was thinking of just going with the 288/280, because I may be doing a FP 37/94 turbo later on this year, with Hd pistons and aluminum rods! I dont want to have to upgrade cams again! But if the 280s will be plenty, then thats what I will go with...

Also my BC 288s had more of a lift with (11.88/12.14mm) with no problem reving to 9k+!

Can anyone link up the website for the makers of kelford cams? Couldn't find shit on google!
