Like stated I'm removing my old clutch and flywheel and installing a new one. I'm curious to what people have done to keep everything still while doing so. I could only find what one person has done with a old bracket they had lying around but I have no such random bracket. So any help would be appreciated

I've seen that but have no metal to put holes in for a fabbed up bracket so i need another plan. Also how to keep it still installing a new one. I may try the crow bar/pry bar technique. What about install though?

The plate that is used in that picture is the original downpipe to engine block support bracket. If you still have that on your engine, you can use it. Otherwise, I know Lowe's has perforated metal stock in the store which you can use just as easily.

In the picture 19Eclipse90 linked, I didn't use any bracket, but this is what I did :)

I grabbed two M8 bolts and threaded them into the flywheel step (the ledge with holes which secure PP to flywheel). Then I took a pry bar, wedged between the two bolts and set the pry bar against the ground (my pry bar is about 3feet long ;)) to torque the bolts to spec.

I don't see a problem doing it that way, it was plenty strong, you just need a couple M8*1.25 bolts about 2+ inches long and a prybar/pipe.
