sometimes it just makes a loud clicking noise and sometimes it turns over but no engine start....NONE.

i replaced timing belt, timing belt tensioner, all timing components, transistor pack, starter, cam angle sensor, checked/charged battery, replaced battery cables, checked for spark(ok), checked for fuel(ok), checked timing again...its holding right at TDC=0*. idk wtf is the problem but it WONT fire off...this is the car in my profile...built.

please put in some input other dsmers i need this shit fixed soon...thanks guys.

well went outside again to see if i could get it to start....it fired off but popped like a effing gun shot LOL...so i rechecked timing and everything is DEAD ON. idk why its not fully starting....='[

does anybody have any ideas? ive searched like problems on google and on this forum and nothing.

thanks

pretty much i parked it running perfectly, woke up next morning to go to work and it wouldnt start...checked starter and it had been literally sheared off the bellhousing(defective) replaced it and still no start....checked timing and somehow it was off and the tension pulley had failed...wtf. but it ran perfect when parked. now retimed perfect and everything replaced new OEM timing components and still no start condition.

well its a long shot....plug wires in right order.....from left to right its 4321...but the coil is 4123....i had that issue with mine......is it cranking over at all?

its the oil pressure sender connected? i´m not sure but happened to my car when it was rebuilt the sender cable was not connected and just did not fire

Really? Am i thinking of the right thing. The wire that sends a signial to the gauge cluster?

I have had mine fall off and not effect the way my car ran. The gauge just dosent read.

Is this just a 2G thing?

like I told you before i am not sure can´t remember exactly, when got my rebuilt just didn´t crank then my mechanic told me the sender was off and that was the cause it did not fire.

there isn´t any other sender for the oil pressure right?

see idk...its fallen off before and ran fine other than the gauge was dead...oh well when i get off work tonight its back to chasing the problem down once again...

LOL well atleast i found the problem...bent all the intake valves pretty badly. there getting fixed in the next few days and the it took me 3 hours of sweating to pull apart the car. ill post pics as soon as i get a usb card reader.

^ Compression guage would be a wize investment, coulda save you alotta time. Good Luck - and make sure your timing is dead on when re-assembled or it'll happen again.

yea...timing was dead on before but when everything had gone on in the first place and WHY we were replacing the tbelt and components is cause the hydraulic tensioner had failed LOL but the belt wasnt totally fried...so id figure a simple replace all timing components and the thing back on the road would work....it did somehow for around 40-60 miles...but thats all. i even recall when i was setting the timing on the cam gears i heard something fall or make a noise in the head(turned out to be a lash adjuster falling off the valve/cam lobe) LOL.

pics like promised.
