Just starting to tune..+ or - fuel with a 103% low trim

Just what the title says. My low fuel trim is at 103%. I know that is pretty close, but would i add or subtract fuel on the SAFC to get it to 100%? I am assumine i need to add since it is 3% more than what it is supposed to be.

Someone correct me or confirm this please

Yes, you need to add fuel, but 103% is pretty good anyway. On 1g loggers values above 100% mean you are lean, and values below 100% mean you are rich.

I wouldn't bother trying to fine tune any more, you are more than close enough.

it was more for reference when tuning in the higher rpm ranges.

You won't be in the LFT in high RPM ranges. Once you are moving along at around 3k rpm the airflow is high enough to put you in the HFT.

edit: I get what you are saying. Yes, add to the AFC when above 100%, take away when below.

thats weird, my low trims are at 82%, but I used the o2 sensor to gauge what to set it at. The instructions I was using to tune my maft said that you want to tune your low trims so that the o2 sensor goes into open loop and hits about .87 peak and then go back to .00, then up again. I have it -5% from where it does that and its still "rich". by -5% from where it does that I mean it goes up and down at +25%, so I put it at +20%. my maft is in blow through and I think thats screwing with the values, I have my mid at -5% and my wot at -20% or so.
