Just picked up what I thought was a unicorn a completely stock 92 tsi. Bought it from an old lady who maintained it perfect. Compression good, guess I will start with an air filter and probly change out the spark plugs and wires

If it were me, i'd check the timing,maybe also replace the timing belt.change the oil,flush the radiator.basic service things. Goodluck with your car

Timing, plugs and wires.

Get an intake, then a good 3" exhaust.

Drive it for a bit, make sure everything else is in good order - then go to town.

damn good find.... remember to do all the necessary things before you start modding it IMO.... like oil change, fluid flushes, timing, spark plug, wires, tranny flush and all that stuff.... get it out of the way so it doesnt give you problems....

Still have too do the tranny flush...the only thing I notice it the clutch pedal is stiff and creeks when I press down on it. also probly related but when the clutch catches only some times there is like a thunk, this us leading me too believe the clutch if going
