OK so me and my friend just installed my huge ebay FMIC and a greddy type s bov. I get the car done and when im accelerating its like the engine flutters then it finally starts to accelerate. then when i hit 100mph it acts like it is not getting power and it flutters again but this time a much harder flutter.

Tighten all your intercooler clamps down as hard as you can. On my friends old 2g when he hit boost his couplers would expand enough to leak, but once he'd shut the engine off they'd clamp back around.

hopefully thats it and not a boost leak ### that would be much easier to fix than a boost leak. im hoping for more opinions on this because i wanna make sure to check all the possibilities of what would cause this.
and the clamps would be a good chance since when i took it out of the first time one of the clamps popped off.

One of those clamps expanding is a boost leak. Just put a tester on it and find where it's leaking.

You have a boost leak, and It doesn't mean that is exactly from your BOV, But Greddy s type are common to leak, that's why I was saying to watch it, But a boost leak is more common to make the our cars to feels like yours is feeling. Make a boos leak, What turbo are you running?, If you have an evo3 or smaller then is not your couplers expanding, It doesn't have the power to do it, unless you don't have the pipes all the way in from the couplers, Make sure all the pipes are all the way in, and (DO A LEAK TEST).

If it didn't start until you put the front mount on I would suppose the problem is narrowed down to one of the clamps being loose when I put mine on they might seem tight but they are still loose enough during boost to leak. Tighten down all your clamps a few more turns make sure you BOV adjustment screw is set properly as well don't assume its tight but remember that the nut is only to lock down the adjustment theres actually an hex adjustment point the real greddys are notorious for stripping out the knock off will be worse. Chances are you just have a clamp loose though check the placement of the couplers on the pipes as well could have moved a little while you were driving it if they weren't tight.

stock t25 with the wastegate solenoid removed

t25 is to small for the FMIC. all your going to do is experience more lag as the turbo has to work harder to fill that IC. theres countless debate on this topic but the simple math of the subject is that all that front mount does is looks good on your car. Id build a BLT at your local home depot. cost me about 2.50 to build one. hook it up and pressure it to 15ilbs via your aftermarket boost gague. you have one of those right.... tighten things down till you dont hear anymore leaks and then try testing it again. this time keep it to the speed limit please

good luck

T 25 is not too small for a fmic. At least it wasn't for me. I saw a noticable gain esp at higher speeds with it. If you haven't actually ever done it YOURSELF don't say its too small. And to the op, do the BLT before you go any further.

T-25 is too small for much of anything. Of course your gonna see boost lag with a fmic.

OP I am 100% sure you have a boost leak. Test it, grab a can of hair spray, and some t-clamps if your fmic (eBay) came with regular screw type clamps.

You should also bead your inter-cooler piping if you they didn't come beaded (most eBay ones don't)
