I used to have a 5spd 94 accord, it was fun for a first car, got into looking at mods, about 2yrs after getting it, relized it wasn't fast and sold it last week. This week I went to Miami (neatest place I've ever been btw, the Miami beach strip is insane...) but I went down there and picked up my new 97 Spyder GS-T, very nice car, got it for $8,800, drove it back to Central IL, 1300 mi drive, only thing to go wrong was the oil sending unit went bad, lost all oil pressure, and scared the shit out of me, til diag'd. Any way, I'm new to not only the turbo scene, but the DSM. It seens like the GS-T is fast stock, so I can't wait to start mod'ng it. Any suggestions for the first mods? I'm thinking Dejon tool piping first, dunno whats next, lemme know. Few pictures below of my car

Nice find. First thing you should do for a mod is invest a little time and money into learning about forced induction systems. This will make your life much easier. Read the faq forum here probably take days.....(I know I have written some of it and it is long) but read it all. Then when you do do mods you won't mess up your sweet ride.

If you have any questions just post em up. Remember to use the search for any info first as many questions are basic and have been answered before (like what oil/ tranny fluid/ etc).

Actually I'm kind of liking the auto, bad launches, but once it kicks in its pure love, I smoked a mod'd 5spd RSX last night, and the look of confusion on the drivers face made me laugh. I get killed off the start everytime but I figure with a could mods I should make up for it, once the turbo spools. Oh, I been meanin to ask you guys, I have no turbo timer, and the car doesn't get granny driven, how long should I let the car run before shutting off?

Im gonna keep all my questions in one topic, but you guys got any suggestions on rims? I don't know what color/style to go with, I'm thinking deep dish's, just dunno which ones, and suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Well the car didn't come with any, but I bought me a fancy see through plastic set from advanced, they trap water so it don't stain carpet, pretty nice. :p I posted a question about a muffler in the FAQ but it seems that the section is never viewed so i'll ask here too, has anyone ever thought of getting a 3g muffler from a junkyard and putting on a 2g? In my opinion they sound kind of nice, and deep, look better, and maybe a little better flow for cheap? I dunno.
