So many like to look down on the 4g64 almost as much as my old 420a. Proved the 420a could destroy a 4g63. Now about to do the same with my new 4g64 seeing as to my last one passed on to a better life.LOL. Was wondering though if anyone could tell me rougly how much I can get out of that SOHC head. Last checked the supercharger going on was pumpin a nice 18lbs. Now I dont want to convert to DOHC unless someone gives me low hp numbers for the current head. Any advice as to which head should I go for?
 
one this thread is a joke so i am gonna co-sign and say this guy has been smoking wayyyy to much crystal meth :nono: and should be ashamed of himself.....also wanted to chime in and say that the only reason i continued to read this is because bNasty is one funny m-fer.
 
I owned an automatic 98 rs. I just put in a couple things into it like high compression pistons, exhaust system, walbro, etc. Wasn't turbo or anything. You should have seen that bad boy catching up to evo's, sti's and not to mention gs-t's. Gs-t's we're the easiest of the bunch. Never really had it dyno tuned but for some reason my mechanic just though something wasn't right bout that car since day one. I kinda miss it. Now the reason I say looked down on is precisely cause of what you mentioned. I'm always hearing "Oh get a 63. The 64 aint crap compared to it.". Well today I just walked into Norman Evo's Shop down here in PR. I asked him a few questions cause I dnt like jumping into things without a lil knowledge. Whe asked why I wanted to know and told him I was supercharging my spyder at 19psi you should have seen his face. This is a guy who owns a 9 sec Evo. So I kinda felt like I was on the right track. So I'm lookin for as much knowledge as I can. Any is welcome. I poured many hours into learning about the 420a so I could achive what I did. Trying to cut this time in half. My wife hates having me up all night looking for info.LOL.

not to bash u but do u kno ### u said, ## sayin a automatin 420 could keep up wit a boosted 4g63 ive driven n owed a many 420 eclipses they are not fast compared to anythin boosted eclipses

I think he was talking about 140hp hopefully. because sorry, GS/RS can barely mke it past 100mph before the wind starts maxing you out, and it take anywhere from 30 seconds to 1 minute to get from 100mph-120 in a NT 420a. The only way a NT could pull on a Sti or Evo is if they were Pulling into their driveway when you did a ricer flyby on 15 mph road.

I have a feeling that he may just be trying to get his comments up to maybe post onto classifieds or something. He may be smarter than we think. Whats the best way to get above newbie statues than to create something controversial and highly doubtful. Beware of classifieds from this guy imo.

On a side not, with enough money, anything is possible. But the proof is in the pudding buddy, so far there is no proof or pictures.

I just don't understand how you even build the courage to post things of this sort.. This is like the thread that started about that guy putting a 2jz in a DSM, it went no where fast. And he said all the same things as you, "I'm not working on it, just funding it". Stop wasting thread space PLEASE! Go join the Honda forums!
 
is this a joke, i mean, i thought we were out of the fast and the furious era? Eclipse rs, cold air intake, stand alone fuel managment system, supercharger, not a baddd way to spend 10,000 dollars. He has to show us he's worthy when he bets his pink slip in a race. (F&F reference.) :p
 
outta curiousity, why are you planning to supercharge instead turbocharge? not to change the subject of the "monster" RS or anything....

Most people would say this isn't going to get done just because of the stuff you say. Kinda sounds like B.S to me. I owned a 420a with exhaust, suspension, headers, CAI, sway bars etc. I couldn't catch up to Gs-ts hell I couldn't even beat some honda's. It's really, really hard to say that kind of stuff and not have any kind of documintation to prove it. Once I see the results like dyno papers or video's I will believe it, until then have fun with your supercharged 64.

Im right there with ya Doubleot when i had my eagle talon with da 420a in it i ran with my buddys in there gsts and got waxed tore up from the floor up and one of my friends had a interga gsr he put 6 cars on me so all im saying is 4G63 FTW trust me :hellyeah:
 
I put a LS VTEC head on my GS and it made a load of difference, I was able to even pull on some ferraris i had 600 hp detuned to 400 hp to the front wheels the only place where power should be. I was tuned with hondata and everything.

And that wasn't even with slicks, I saw his ass! ROFL
