Just bought car, power cut question

I just bought my 92 talon tsi a few days ago and the power cut's out around 6,100-6,500 rpm's. I have only brought it up that high a few times but it always does this. The seller said the valve seals are going bad and the car smokes a little bit from the exhaust. I know that it is burning some oil becuase of the seals. I was wondering if this power cut is because of the seals or do I maybe need bigger injectors? I have 550cc with a Big 16G and the boost is set to hit 18 pounds. Am I running out of fuel? I'm not sure but any help on this would be great. I also will be changing out the bad seals in a couple of weeks.

Sounds good the car pulls really hard until that point, pushes 18 pounds and the car dyno'd at 250 at the wheels before the previous owner put on front mount and exhaust so i'm thinkin it should be around 265 wheel now but it just cuts out at the high rpm's but I can't complain about how hard it pulls because it is real strong until that point

So 550cc injectors should be fine for my setup?? I just want to make sure i'm not maxing out the injectors at around 6,000 rpm's can anybody give me some input on this?
