supertech dual spring kit
titanium retainers included with springs
1mm oversize SS valves
bronze guides
3gen lifters
using old rockers
FP3cams
cam gears

With the engine comes:

any piston of choice with any compression .20 over (ross, wiseco, CP, JE)
scat rods
custom bearings
arb rod bolts
arp head bolts
stock mains
custom high pressure head gasket
Special machining that fixes crank walk (whatever, this guy swears he will replace any engine for free if it ever walks)
ported and polished head
ports flow tested that the intake matches the proper size of the exhaust, and that they all match
blue printed on one of 7 200,000 dollar blue printing computers in the states
all machine work laser guided and to .0001 of an inch
hot tanked, heat treated, chemically stripped, chemically coated.....
complete with all accesories
a race oil pump this guy swears by made in spain
water pump
balance shaft eliminated
pulleys
belts
Tested and broken in on engine dyno, with custom tune and cam degree
one year warranty and again a life time on the thrust bearing. He said if it ever walks he will toss a new motor for free. He said every little piece would be precision specced to work in harmony with every thing. Spring pressures would be measured and shimmed for equal compression on cam lobes, Sooo much stuff that guy spouted off it was freakin amazing. this guy knew specs internals on four different lifters, cfm rating on before and after cylender heads from 1g to 2g before and after port with or without over size valves and every thing in between. I was truly very impressed from talking to him on the phone.

heres the kicker..... found the guy on ebay :shhh: His name is engineman100 and he is way chill over the phone, talked to him for about 2 hours this morning. Only thing off about our discussions, he didn't like, offer, recomend, or use wiseco pistons but he has them if I real really really wanted them. I guess he knows some thing we don't. Some thing about supreme metal expansion control with ross and CP.....

Anyway, can't wait to get this thing. He also has a gst with 700whp using his custom head gasket (same one going on my car for 60 bucks) at 37 psi, along with the same bearings. He says he does alot of mitsubishi, I wonder if any one else has used him before.

Anyway, rambling now, what you guys think about all this?

Sounds almost too good to be true.

Just machining costs alone would reun a pretty penny. Unless this guy owns a state-of-the-art machine shop, I don't see him putting all that work into the engine and selling it for the same price (atually slightly cheaper) then your regular performance long blocks. Is the guy local? I would def. want to see his shop first. He may be knowledgeble, bu it doesn't automatically make him honest.
If he truly has the resources he claims, he could put many 'legacy' DSM shops out of businiess, yet for some reason no one from DSM community seems to know him....

I was just wondering (for my own use) what his phone number and contact information is, and where he is located. I'll be interested in a setup like that in the future.

you might want to get the crankwalk=freemotor thing in writing.

Is this with a core, or is it 3600$ for the whole thing and you get to keep your stock motor?

Sounds like a lot of money to me.

If I was buying a high dollar engine it wouldn't have 300 dollar rods.

At the minimum for that kind of cash I would expect crower rods and ross pistons.

Break in and tune on the engine dyno?

How is he tuning your car on the engine dyno? He would have to have your ecu, fuel injectors, turbo, exhuast ect to get an accurate tune.

I'm with this ^^^ guy.

And ditto:
How's he gonna get any kind of accuracy on a dyno without the car? Thats like tuning your car stereo system outside of your car in a studio.

It's not setup to max out the engine in fact I think it will run naturally aspirated. The dyno has it's own fuel/ignition source. I loveit! You guys are getting all hostile because, dare I say it, some of you are getting.................................jealous?

Newlogics, remember, I bought all the parts in the head already, so another full long block from him would have to include costs on those parts. BTW all there machining and assemply is done in house. They got a decent size place, 14000 square feet with all there own stuff.....

heres his website for his address and information. He is very proud of the fact that he does all his machining in house.....he sounds like a good guy on the phone........

Having never met the guy or know anything about him I would not comment on him good or bad. But a few things stand out to me.
First custom made head gasket--I'm a Cometic dealer my cost on my custom made gasket was $113
Blueprinted on 200k machine--blueprinting an engine has nothing to do with a printout(Why does an engine builder have a 200k printer)
Heat treated--What's he heat treating?,does he have the equipment, knowledge, and test equipment to properly heat treat.I can't think of anything in the engine that should be heat treated to different than it is now?
Spring pressures and shimming are to set proper installed heigth and seat pressure on the valves--not the cam lobes.
Just my .02 though!

I am just trying to parrot back some of alot of interesting crap he was telling me about, the inaccuracies I'm sure ly in my inability to rember stuff :D

Just visited the web site. I was a little concerned with your first post (my first thought was some guy working out of his garage!) but it looks like a reputable place.

The machine takes all the measurements and calculations and values, no hand micrometers .....

I have scat rods in my motor and they are a nice rod. Better machining than eagles and have a coupple other things that eagles dont have that are very important to durability. As long as the motor is put together correctly you will not have a problem. Weisco is a very good piston as well. What is the motor built for? All out race big turbo (large clearances ) or street mid turbo and oil friendly?? Some things you should look into for your aplication. But it sounds like a great setup for big boost 25+ and 10 second capable. But may not be what you want for the street everyday. Just my $.02

polishing the ports on your head is one of the worst things you can do to it. The smooth surface does not allow turbulance in the air, thus not helping the air fuel MIX. Dont polish it. :notgood:

Looking good Definitiveno. Next time you talk with him, ask if he does 4G64 shortblocks?

...and guys, it's "turbulence", not turbulance....

No such problems young buck, proper atomization is the only thing you need for proper mixture. Polish is good, turbulance bad.

tmizer, give me a minute I have to call him right now.....
