So walking threw my local pick a part not expecting much just a nice trip to see what i can find. So as i get back to the foreign section and right up front is a 97 eclipse gst auto just brought in earlier that week completly stock. Scavengers already got the turbo, manifold and intake so bummer there but to my surprise the ecu is still there. So i snatch it up and only paid 25 for it. Also found a new 1g eclipse that just came in was wondering about the throttle body was told it would be an up grade but not sure if it matters if its the turbo model or not?

It's still bigger than the stock 2g throttle body.

The 1g turbo TB is an upgrade for 2g's.But you will have to port the 2g intake manifold, to accept the larger TB.

I would have brought home the gst.But that's just me.

1g n/t TB's are also an upgrade.They have less nipples on them, so some stuff would have to be deleted and blocked off.

ok thanks i was sure the tb would work. How about the ecu?
