JIC - Tein or Hotbits for 1Ga

Which setup should I get if the car is going to be a track car (autoxing, time trials, solo's)?

Anyone... Group Buy for the hotbits is until the 15th... so I would like to get opinions before then.

From what I have heard... Tein will not cut it for a car that will be mainly track used.

JIC is the way to go... but is it really worth all the money?

Hot Bits... haven't heard many opinions about them... makes sense given that they are not available yet...

The Teins are the only ones that come with the Pillowball's... correct?

Will the Pillowball make a big difference? Anyone with tein's that can provide some testimonials?

Are the spring ratesof 504 front and 392 rear a good setup?

I am sure that the JIC FL-A2 come with pillow ball mounts.

I can't seem to make up my mind on what setup to get.

JIC's are about $1600 (thats the cheapest I have seen them)... Teins are about $1300 and the Hotbit setup is about $1100 after all is said and done...

I wouldn't even look at Tein considering that the Hot Bits are cheaper and they're built by people who have proven their knowledge in rallying.

I'd hold off for just a little while longer. The guys over at http://www.galantvr4.org/ubbthreads...r=991&page=1&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=31&fpart=9 just got thier Hot-Bits and reviews should be coming in soon. Those spring rates you mentioned should be fine for auto-X.

Based on what I read there the Hotbits are closer to $1200... am I right? What is the cheapest you can get an out of the box JIC setup?

That GB was done from Asia. Hot-Bits North Americas GB is around $850 without the mounts.
