Jdm Or USdm THermostat Housing ?

Hey just recieved my JDM 4g63t engine today, and was looking at the thermostat housings and noticed some differences. WOndering if i should switch the JDM Housing for the USDM one? Or just leave it the way it is. THanks

Well think about it. The JDM housing has no cap to put radiator fluid in it since the jdm's had caps on the radiator itself. So this means you'll have no way to fill up on coolant. So yes, you do want to switch it with the US one. On mine, i only swapped the top part of the housing.

Well i would probably say the intake manifold should be switched with the us one unless you want to mess with the whole butterfly valve thing that i dont understand. Other than that it should pretty much just bolt up. I can't tell you for sure since mine was a 1g in a 2g.

i think the coil packs need to be changed also.
