jdm eagle talon?

Is there eagle talons over in japan or is it just the eclipse. Is it possible to get a jdm that came out of a talon?

Neither. You might try searching JDM. The JDM 4g63s we get here are from Galants and Lancer Evos.

there was a thread about some eclipses in asia labeled as GSR's.
But, You do realize that the talons and eclipses have the SAME EXACT ENGINES and were NOT dependant on whoever badged the car. So even if there were such a thing as JDM talon engines, you may as well get an "eclipse engine" since their indistingushable. Both are the same mitsu engine part for part in regards to the 2g 4g63.

no you can get them from what i am told because when i bought my 93 tsi awd about 4 months ago "i have the invoice at home" it had a new "jdm" 4g63 that the pre owner had put in it i may be of some assistance in locating you 1 if need be

there are jdm 4g63s....they are just telling you they come from galants etc, not talons or eclipses.

there is no Japanese Domestic Market eclipse or talon......there just is not.

umm i never said where or what these eng's came from or what thet were made for.... but just like you said there "are " jdm 4g63 no mater what they were made for they fit correct ???? or something o dont no much about is the cyclone 4g63 is that jdm ???

Cyclone in the intake manifold some JDM engines have. Nothing really different about the engine itself. Some evo engines come w/ bigger tuboes,injectors,etc.

Hi im the one with the eclipse in japan, There are no talons here, only eclipses, but there not from here they were imported, Im not sure but i dont think japan let any of the talons come in, im not sure why. When i go to the car store to buy plugs or get new rims they always have the D27A/4g63 in there book to tell them what plugs to give me or if the rims will fit, and the mitsu dealership has stock eclipse parts, windshield, door handle ect. So they know eclipses here,but when i tell them about talons they have no idea what im talking about, I know the engines are the same, but im not sure why the talons never made it here, maybe because it says EAGLE and not MITSUBISHI.

Being that we all posted saying there are no JDM Eclipse/Talon and you preface your post with a "no you can get them from what i am told " you come off as arguing that fact.

Nobody has ever argued if you could get JDM 4G63s....do you even know what you're arguing about? Maybe you should stop guestimating and let the people that know answer the question.

ok maybe you should read i never said they were for the talon or eclipse i just said you can get them and i KNOW they dont make them for the eclipse/talon read!!!!!! and i wasnt arguing about nothing but i am done with this trend

I was wondering because i just purchased a jdm engine and on my receipt it says JDM 4g63 eagle talon engine and i was trying to figure out why they put that on there, I thought there were no talons in japan, thats why i posted it. I know the engine is basically the same, but i thought they would put eclipse on the receipt instead of a talon.

it wouldn't say eclipse in that case either. the car it came from if it was JDM was not an eclipse nor a talon. it would have come out of a galant or the like, but not an eclipse or talon. it probably says talon because maybe you ordered it for a talon?

Either way the posters question was answered and then you all had to start arguing about JDM and eclipse and blah blah blah.

Bottom line is there were no eagle talons in japan.
