JDM AWD Galant to FWD Talon Conversion

ok.... i have a 95 talon with turbo fwd. im planning on buying a jdm engine. i saw that in japan they have an awd galant with the 4g63 engine. does anyone know if the talon and the galants have the same frame lengths???

It's called a Galant VR-4 and there in the US

I don't understand your question, are u planing to convert your fwd to awd?

yea i wanna change my car front fwd to awd and i can get a jdm galant for below cost so i was wondering if the drive lines will fit my 95 talon...

It would just be cheaper to sell the fwd and buy an awd.

The labour would cost a lot, and i'm pretty sure the frame lengths are different.

i work for a formula d drift team so i have the tools and the lift to do it. i just wanna know for sure if the frame lengths are the same or not.

You need just the rearend to do this. I would think that you would understand that our cars have no frame since you are on a formula drift team. It could be just me though.

I am not if the 2G and 1G AWD rear portions are the same. I Know that the rear portion of a 2G will fit under a FWD car. If you want PM MLopez he has an AWD Spyder. He can let you know what is involved.
