Lets put it this way....RRE charges 2k to do a 2g, and 5-7k to do a 1g, and they won't do it anymore. You have to cut out the back of the car, entirely different chassis.

Run a 1 Piece driveshaft and no worries but they are pricey.

I currently own a 93 Awd..it has some problems and needs to be sold. I found a sweet 98 gst with every visual option imaginable. The guy is moving to china and is selling to to me for $1000!!!! Here's the catch, no engine or tranny... I've found a gsx engine and tranny. Using these two parts would i run into as many problems doing a conversion?? How much would the frame need to be reinforced??? Trust me, even if i spent $2000 and a week on it it would be worth it! Hook me up guys!

If you are doing the conversion yourself, I'm hoping you have a welder. A TIG or at least a good MIG to reinforce the frame. Either that or spend at least another $1k just for reinforcement.

Like was said before, the chasis is completly different. RRE used to charge up to $7,000 to do the transformation but now they won't even do it anymore. It would be a smarter choice just to buy a second car or replace your current car with an AWD.

They are completely different chassis. The fact that they are both dsm isn't relevant. It's not a bolt in and not feasible.
