i searched and could not find the answer i am looking for so maybe someone could answer nice and easy. I am looking to buy 2g awd motor for my 2g 99 fwd car. what needs to be done to do so or does it just bolt in?

can anyone else have an input on this?
Well what else do you want to know? WTF These guys are asking you questions you need to ans and have given you the answers that you seek. YES a 2g 4g63 motor from an AWD drive motor can bolt in to a 2gfwd car but you need to chg the flywheel and let us know what yr car the motor came out of and is going into.

can you read. did you not see what i wrote. its going into a 99 fwd. the motor as i stated in a short reply is a 96 awd motor. please read before you reply to my posts. i believe i asked a simple question and all i wanted were feed back from diff. people that may have had experience with this. so again if anyone has diff idea on this please post. man i wish this forum worked like the evom forum.

the year only matter when swapping ecu, change the flywheel and starter shield on the block and it is ready to go in, I have swap 7-9 7 bolt in different years 95-99 2g in fwd and awd and probably 25 -30 6 bolt swaps in 2g

Apparently,YOU have a problem reading. Maybe you should read this post again:

If the motor you bought is a 97 98 or 99 ,you only have to change the flywheel and block plate. If it is a 95 or 96,you also need to use your intake cam and cam angle sensor.

You need to follow your own advice!!:)

you still are not reading. you said to let us know what year car it came off of and in a short reply before you came into this thread i stated it was a 96. please think before you type. thanks to everyone else that helped.
