Japanese Engine: too good to be true?

It'd be the Galant VR4, 4G63 that has 510's and a B16G attached. Stock HP is 225HP.

I got one under the hood of my Laser ... a JDM Galant VR4 motor with the above setup.


If one can tag a motor for that price in good running condition from the yard, go for it. Remember though: you got shipping charges though that can be a bit spendy.

"Dang", I could use that 900 bucks somewhere else besides just sitting in my garage occupying space...along with knowing that if I decide to sell the motor outright, would I get my 900 bucks back or not..

900 would be more than enough to rebuild a stock 4g63 back to factory spec. Or upgrade to topline pistons & 2g rods
