January 13th Food/Cruise Gathering!

I would like to go but the last meet I went to (South Center Mall) made me feel like I'm hanging out with the wrong crowd. I did not even get out of my SUV when I got to Target parking lot after dropping my wife and kids at the mall. I did not drive my Talon that day due to lack of room for 5 people.

If it makes you feel better, I feel a little uncomfortable as well. I haven't been to a DSM meet before (several Galant meets, but those are different) and am wondering how much dick-gauging there is going to be. I will be there plenty early and have a white Galant with Black Enkei rims if you wanna get there early and chat it up.

Simpleman! When you rolled up I thought you said your SN was SUPERman. I don't think any of us ment to make you feel uncomfortable, it's just that you rolled up in a family wagon. Seriously... i thought you were full of crap in the beginning when you started talking to us about owning a DSM. It wasn't until right before you were leaving that it dawned on me... I was like, "wait, he said DSMtuners... he's for real!"

Seriously though... you should come out and show us the Talon. I understand though if you don't, most of these guys make ME feel old!!

Shiskibob... everyone is actually really, really cool and I wouldn't say anyone there thinks that they're better then anyone else. IMO, nobody's ride is bad enough to even warrent that sort of attitude... although, I gotta give props to RedGSX21's ride... his engine bay is so clean, it could double as an operating room.

I am 30. 1GHAAAAAW is uhmmm..older. I have a family, a new baby on the way.... the DSM community covers the whole scale of people from the young 18 yr olds that have yet to grasp the concept of what DSM really means to those that are true NW-DSM OG's. I have been on a few runs where people weree left behind due to car problems and click bs. I have also put on a few small runs like one to Ocean Shores a few years back. It turned out really well. We did not rush to get to destinations, we actually enjoyed the trip and the sites as well as being around fellow DSM'rs. A few folks said that it was one of the best mets they had been too becuase they felt like "friends" even if they were just meeting for the first time. No one made anyone feel like they were dumb or incompetent. That kills the meet and the purpose. I will be one of the first to stomp that shit if it happens.Since we are also going to be out in the center of public... I am strongly suggesting that EVERYONE act responsible and mature. I want peoples jaws to drop as we roll deep to the parking area but more importantly...for people to not remember seeing our group as a bunch of f♣ckt@rd adolences.

I hope that I am not the only one to have this point nor be the only one to enforce it. If I see anyone being a jerk and making us look bad....I am asking them to leave. I am not getting kicked out without getting some lunch because someone wants to believe they have bigger nuts.

I do not see that being the case with this group but you all kow it only takes one person, this can not be stressed enough... SIMPLEMAN ~ I am sure yo uwill have lots of input to share with others at the meet if you would attend.

You can always learn something new thats for sure. My favorite part is that all of us 4 cyl DSM's have the same engine, yet each of our engine bays are sooooo different... Its sweet seeing all of the dif setups.

I cant wait!!!!! I want to see a bunch of videos and picts on monday from the meet!

That's crazy... I did not even notice they changed up to Walker's Mazda of Renton. Can try Puyallup or Tacoma, or Auburn I guess. Tacoma Mitsu should have it since they run the site "Mitsubishi Parts" | Online Parts & Accessories Catalog.

Yeah I went through mitsubishiparts.com/Tacoma after my craigslist guy fell through, but the soonest one of the knuckles I needed can be here is Monday because it has to come from Alabama or something.
If worst comes to worst I'll drive my mom's Mini Cooper and just try to blend in...

I couldn't F'ing agree with you more.

Yes, being 18 as myself, I get frowned upon a lot, with people just thinking im a young punk kid with a hott ride, and a girl riding B*TCH.
When the fact of the matter is, my first car was a DSM, I found exactly what I wanted and bought another one after selling that one, and have only owned 2 cars in my life; both being DSMs.

I have my own car, my own place, my own job, and pay for it all on my own. Mommy nor Daddy buy anything for me unless it's a birthday gift, xmas gift, etc.

I will own my DSM until the day I die, even if it means struggling a little. I enjoy, and have a true love and passion for DSM's and would own every one if I could.

Secondly, like as state in post #1, I WILL NOT TOLERATE ASS-HATS ruining it for us. Any revving, burnign out, loud music, etc you will be asked politly to leave.
If you do not leave, authorities will be called.

Lastly, I want this meet to turn out great, I want everyone to feel welcome, and if anyone tried to have bigger balls, or is a prick, I personally will make you look like an idiot.
This should be a good, clean, safe, and fun meet and everyone is welcome.

If it turns to shit, I will never host a DSM meet again, and I will slowly fall out of the meets as I don't need the trouble or bad reputation.

Lets makes this a good meet, and have MANY MORE to come!
I hope everyone takes lots of pics, videos, and most importantly stays SAFE, and have fun.

Good grief! NoFear20 and I just finished putting his brand new 3" Megan Racing Exhaust on, and I'm beat. That thing was one MAJOR PITA! Lucky for me though I don't have to worry about cleaning since I'll be driving across the pass, making any late night cleaning efforts useless.
