For all you Kent/Renton/Tukwila/Seatac people out there I think it'd be cool if we all met up at the Southcenter mall around 10:30-10:45 so we can all roll to Alderwood together. I'll be meeting there with a 2g Talon it'd be nice to get a bunch more though. We'll be leaving at 11 to make sure we get to Lynwood on time since we all know I-5 traffic tends to be a bi***. If you're down we'll be in the parking lot near the Cheesecake factory (across the street from the Chevron).

So the machine shop in Seattle (Action Machine) my dad has been going to for years quoted me at $685, WITHOUT a friendly discount that I havn't asked for yet. As far as that goes, it seems pretty reasonable to me.

They did an awsome job on my last head I had sent in to get parts swapped over and a fresh mill. So I'm dropping off the block at action machine today to have them start doing the work. Once my car is done in a month or so, I'll be setting up another big meet, to show off the motor and hopfully get my damn car there running right.

I think I found the answer as to why my car spun the rod bearing. For all of you that werent with me and the two subies after the last meet, I noticed my car had a massive oil leak, so I put more oil in it to limp it home, only to find out the key-way on the crankshaft when I put the front case on tore a piece out of the front main seal, causing oil to leak everywhere, down the car, under the car, all over the exhaust, etc. Replaced the seal, and changed the oil, and I was one my way. Month later, spun a rod bearing. Well I vaugly remember checking the oil after noticing it all over my car, and it was NOT even on the dipstick. No oil on the dipstick and messing around with the subies on the freeway for extended periods of time, probably didn't help the bearings or anything for that matter.

As for the positive, I'll now have a bored block, really stong build for my setup and pull 350 out of this turbo before I switch over to link, FPgreen, new fuel pump, AFPR, and injectors. As for now, my goal after break in miles is done, is to drop the Evo injectors in, SAFC, Keydiver, and get it tuned. Let the funds crawl back to me, BC 272s, meth injection, re-tune. Then to the dyno to hope for 350awhp.

I'm excited.
Especially for BOTI 2008.

i dont know if i''ll be able to make it. between going to work and trying to work on the clutch pedal pressure problem.when its dark as shit and goin under the dash adjusting the rod to see if i get more pressure but it doesnt. than bleeding the clutch system. and getting the same results and or worse. than testing the car and only going a block and back and only getting 1,2 and reverse. than no pedal at all. pisses me off. so hopefully the hydralic line is the problem.

Guys meeting at the Supermall.... We will travel 167 northbound, take the 405 southbound, and get on I-5 Northbound for our mission....if timed right, can hook up with the SouthCenter folks on the freeway!!!!

We will be on channel 13 sub 0 on the radios and should come up to the 167-405 interchange just before 11:00 as we will in reality leave Auburn around 10:40 since someone is always late. We will send out a call when near southcenter and see if can pick any of you guys up on the wave lengths.

I left my number in a post a few up from this one. We will also hit channel 13 on the radios when we hit 405 going southbound past the southcenter mall. I can call you at southcenter when we are hitting the interchange to 405 from 167 as a heads up we will be passing your on ramp in about 5 minutes. Or just call me about 4:50 to see where we are at on the freeway.
