I did a lot of searching but I couldn't find the right pics. My pinch welds are starting to look bent up, can I use the points in the video to place my jack stands?

EDIT, I put the fronts under the lower control arms, they work great. Thanks guys!

That started happening on my old 2G, so I started to put the jack underneath the front subframe (should be okay for the 1g as well).

Usually go for "as close to the wheel on suspension as possible" if doing something wheel-related, or under the control arms like in the picture for working under the car. Tried on the weld once and it bent right away. Won't do that again without a wooden block with a slot cut in it where weld goes in the slot.

You could always try and fix them like this:

This is from AZDAVE. He welded that right onto the car and then painted them.
I know its on a 2g but it may help and it looks good in the end. I think it is going to be my first mod when I move down to FL in the spring.
