The 260-horsepower V6 engine in the Ralliart Galant will also be used in the 2006 Eclipse.

Mitsu v6 engine codes start with 6. 8g v6 Galant was a 6g72, and the 8g looks to be the same, but with mivec heads.

that looks as fun to tune as a 3G eclipse. at least it has decent base power. i hate V-6 engines turned sideways. shoot they should be smart and go with a straight 6 IMO

6G72 was really the only good 6 cylinder that mitsubishi has made, and it was put in a heavy ass car.

i think the new eclipse (based on what i've read so far) will be something like the 3000gt, fairly powerful, but uberheavy. come on, 3.8v6 in front and an electric motor in back?
bring back the 4g63, a variation of it, or something better... and 2 is not always better
