So, Im in the process of trying to change my water pump out while the engine is still in the car.... Its been two day and im still going nowhere fast. Any suggestions on how I can do this without pulling the motor?

VFAQ.com has some good write-ups too. I know it took a while the first time I did one. Now I don't even need to look at the instructions... don't get discouraged.

I alwys cuss out the japanese. it helps to have little hands and fingers. First time does take a while. That's why we replace everything while we're in there.

Jack the motor up on the driverside with a 2x4 on the a/c compressor bracket and it makes it easier to access from the top.

Alright, Im stuck right now trying to get the timing belt cover off. Ill check the links out and hopefully get this done soon. Ill jack the motor up a little but its hard to get in there.

Alright, So far this is quite a project. Not to easy doing this with the motor still in the car but about have it out once the auto tensioner is out... Then hopefully no more problems.
