Alright so I have tried searching but I would like some opinion from you guys. I have had an idle surge for awhile and i decided to check my isc today since I had some down time.

All 4 ohm readings were 40 ohms. And when i hooked up the 6v battery to the motor it only twitched. It didn't move in and out. So i went ahead and hooked it back up to the wire harness and propped it up so i could see it when i turned the car to the on position. However, when I turned it to the on position it only twitched again, and it didn't move in or out.

Think its bad?

They say can see if it works, by just unbolting it from the motor and turning the car on,(not starting the car) and it should move in and out. I tried that and it didnt move at all, so i bought a new one, $75 and it still doesnt move. I bolted it on anyway, and now when i start my car it idles at 2500 and sounds like there is a massive air leak! Any sugestions?

It's the same thing bud :thumb: The only difference is a Mitsubishi logo is missing.

Almost, but not quite. There are MANY minor differences, but one important one is windings on the OEM version are from a different supplier than the non-OEM versions that I have seen. These windings are the core of the stepper motor. The Mitsu version is more consistent on its Ohm readings and slightly higher as well, mostly as a result of the different windings.

As usual with Mitsu OEM parts, you get what you pay for.
