So I guess u can call it a no start condition it will crank and crank or when it does start it only runs couple mins then dies I have spark there fuel in rail haven't been able to confirm if injectors are opening or not but I opened my Ecu to check the caps and see if it was an EPROM and I found this

This is how my ECU was and I was having weird issues. It eventually wouldn't stay running. I replaced the ECU and everything worked just fine.

I would say yes, that is bad to find.

Hey Grizbomb,
Try to clean up the corrosion with some isopropyl rubbing alcohol. That may do the trick for you. Its worth a shot.

Looks like it got hot for some reason. Maybe something went bad and overloaded a circuit on the board. ECMlink would be a good choice to look it over.

Yeah that's definitely capacitor leakage. ECM Tuning should be able to fix it. It doesn't look nearly as bad as some of the ECU's they have fixed. You could consider having it socketed and eprom converted if needed while it's there.

probably cheaper to just junk it and buy a used eprom off someone on here.

I can't see the whole ECU but the PCB# ending in D makes it possible that this is a EPROM ECu that is otherwise in good shape from what I can see. It will be well worth it to repair rather than gamble on some used EPROM.

If it turns out to be a non-EPROM then it's a wash after repairs and conversion with tide being in it's favor again because of being know good at that point rather than a question.

Why yes that is bad to find =) Does it smell just like seafood too?!?! Yeah definitely cap leakage. Go here, this is all I used to fix mine.

I replaced the caps and cleaned the board up best I could after I had the same thing, it lasted me about a year until it left me stranded, but seein how it cost maybe $4 and took a night of soldering it was well worth it
