Resolved Is this an 2G EPROM ECU? (*pic*)

is this an EPROM ECU i heard from someone on here as long as it has an E on it than it is and i want to send it to Keydiver if so...

It sure is. I always like to open mine just to be sure. There should be a socket on the bottom right side with a serial number that matches the front. I got two buds that have told me to watch out for peeps that copy the stickers on real EPROM and put them on non EPROM ECU's. Just a suggestion.

IIRC that's what the E on it means, and also I've seen some non-eproms that were black.

Covers can easily be swapped.


Pull the lid and look for the chip.

I've had a bunch of ECU's that have E on them. It doesn't always mean that there still is an EPROM inside

A lot of ECUs have the E on the cover like yours. People switch the covers to make it seem like its an EPROM ECU. Just open it up
