Not sure if it is a T-28, but if the turbo to manifold flange, and o2 housing flange are for a DSM it will fit. You'll just need a small bend to route it to the stock intercooler.

Pretty sure if it doesnt have the curve then its not a t-28, as thats the whole poing of a t-28, it being a direct bolt on replacement for the t-25. Unless it has been cut, but that should be obvious

It may be a t-28, but it may not be a Mitsu style turbine housing. It may have a t-2 style housing on it.

here is the difference in manifold flanges-
Just enlarge the pics.

I was able to get the pics uploaded.

Says...Garrett BC1 M27 A/R . 48

Looks just like the turbo that came off my buddies Saab. Either way that housing is definatly not fitting on your Mitsu flanged manifold. Even look at the downpipe, its definatly not going on your car. The T-25 and 28 series turbos have a casted elbow coming off them that head into the passenger side of the engine bay. That is a downfiring turbo, it has no elbow.

The turbo you bought is a T25 designed for the Saab 9000. It's technically a Saab 9000 CSE turbo. Basically a T25. Might flow like 1lb/min more with a different exhaust housing. Should have researched this before buying it.

I did some searching, and this looks like it might be a 15g compressor housing found on Saab 9000 Aero cars.

I did a google search on "BC1 M27" and found a few ebay hits and Saab forum hits. The 15g and 15t are similar, but the 15g has alternating high-low compressor fins like yours.

What markings are on the turbine housing? Also, there may be a plate bolted to the center section with a maker and serial number. Try googling those numbers and see what comes up.

Found this on ebay with a Google search of "BC1 M27 A/R .48". Looks the same and is for a Saab.

Found this searching for "BC1 M27" (which came up with the A/R .48 as well). That led me to this Saab forum thread. That led me to the following PDF with turbo details for lots of cars. Page 20, Saab section, 9000 Aero (one is the 15t and one is the 15g).

He can probably reclock the housings, but that turbine flange won't fit the DSM mani, and I'd bet the O2 flange is completely different.

Looks like you'd need to do some work to get this bolted on. Sorry dude.
